West Michigan musicians perform at annual Jammies awards in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Feb. 20, visitors to The Intersection in Grand Rapids can attend the 26th Jammies, an award ceremony and evening of performances featuring Michigan musicians presented by local radio station WYCE.

“It’s an amazing event,” said John Sinkevics, editor and publisher of Local Spins and radio host at WYCE. “It’s really embracing and spotlighting some of the best artists and bands in the Michigan music scene.”

Grand Rapids library concert series returns for 2026

Beginning at 6 p.m., attendees at the Jammies can enjoy performances on three different stages from over 15 different West Michigan musicians — including Caitlin Cusack, Clawfoot, Phabies, Normal Mode and more.

“The talent onstage is pretty incredible,” Sinkevics said. “This is a really great opportunity for people to support these artists.”
