Taipei Chinese Kitchen’s story started in 2007 when Sara Gelsomino’s mother-in-law and her partner founded Taipei Chinese Kitchen.
Sara and her husband, Romano, joined the family business in 2013, learning the ropes at their first location.
The eatery began as hot bars inside Giant Food Stores, but the owners dreamed of something more, a real brick-and-mortar restaurant where they could serve the kind of quality, made-to-order Chinese food they were passionate about, and dishes Romano grew up eating in Taiwan…
