An important date in Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar’s quest for an additional year of eligibility is set. The preliminary injunction will be on Friday, Feb. 13 in a Knox County Chancery Court, KnoxNews Adam Sparks first reported Thursday.
The preliminary injunction was briefly set for Feb. 6 but ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Wednesday that it was likely to move back a week. Sparks officially reported that development on Thursday.
Part of the reason for the delay is due to Alabama basketball center Charles Bediako’s preliminary injunction is on Feb. 6. Taylor Eskew, a Knoxville native and Tennessee alum, is a lawyer for the NCAA in both the Bediako and Aguilar hearings…
