Gold Star Mom says she helped expose woman guilty of fraud, stolen valor

FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. – FOX13 obtained indictment papers indicating that a Fayette County woman who pleaded guilty to pretending to be a military combat veteran spent some 10 years telling the lie for her own personal gains.

Amanda Bass recently pleaded guilty to wire fraud and stolen valor, according to the U.S. Attorney Office in the Western District of Tennessee.
