Stanislaus County Authorities Arrest 73 in Annual Multi-Agency Human Trafficking Operation

STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA — In a decisive blow against local exploitation, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) Task Force has announced the conclusion of “Operation Reclaim and Rebuild.” The six-day undercover blitz, timed to coincide with Human Trafficking Awareness Month in January, resulted in 73 arrests and the execution of 25 search warrants.

Beyond the arrests, officials confirmed a more vital victory: the rescue of four victims, all of whom have since been connected with comprehensive support services. The local initiative was part of a massive, coordinated California effort. This year’s statewide Operation Reclaim and Rebuild led to more than 600 arrests across dozens of participating jurisdictions.

The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office distinguished itself during the mobilization, recording the third-highest arrest total out of 80 participating agencies. Authorities credited the operation’s success to a specialized team of investigators dedicated to dismantling trafficking networks and ensuring exploiters face the full weight of the law.The operation relied on a multi-agency framework, bridging the gap between local, state, and federal resources. Key partners included:

  • The Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office
  • Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)
  • California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

Crucial victim advocacy and community support were provided by local non-profits Without Permission and HAVEN (Healthy Alternatives to Violent Environments)…
