BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – “My wife’s having a baby!” were the grave words Bedford County dispatcher Julia Harding faced when she answered a 911 call on Feb. 1 at 6:04a.m.
Harding calmy addressed the caller and initiated Emergency Medical Dispatch childbirth instructions. With her help, the parents successfully delivered the baby before responders arrived.
