A Framingham Police detective has resigned from the department after more than five years of service.
Kyle Pursell, who joined the Framingham Police Department in 2020, sent a letter of resignation to Police Chief Lester Baker via email on Jan. 9. Pursell’s resignation was effective immediately.
The letter, obtained via a public records request made by Olufunmilola Shelly, did not specify a reason for the resignation, other than to say that Pursell wanted to pursue other opportunities…
