There are few foods that bring people together in Amarillo quite like a big heaping plate of nachos. Whether it’s game day, date night, or just one of those “I don’t feel like cooking” kind of evenings, nachos always feel like the right answer.
Crispy chips, melted cheese, and all of the toppings piled high make them more than just an appetizer; they can be a full-on experience. The toppings can be changed to make every plate a different experience.

The nachos can have jalapenos added, on the side, or not at all. That is all depending on your spice level. The spicier the better when I’m ordering.

When you go out to eat, you can choose to share a plate as an appetizer, but I am all for making nachos my meal. The messier the better. Heck, I was even known for making a full plate of nachos as my breakfast growing up.
