Quincy Jones’ legacy celebrated with symphony and song this Valentine’s Day weekend

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is set to pay tribute to the legendary Quincy Jones with a special concert titled “The Legacy of Quincy Jones.”

This event will explore Jones’ lasting impact across jazz, pop, film, and television, showcasing music that continues to connect generations.

ASO Music Director and Conductor Jeff Robson, along with Creative Consultant and Co-Producer Das Murray, shared their excitement about the upcoming show. “When he passed, I think everyone in the music industry really started to reflect on just the incredible career they had, of the impact he’s had on American music through all genres,” Robson said.
