MAUMELLE, Ark. — For people who live along Maumelle Boulevard, the view, trees, traffic flow, and the buffer from the main road matter. That’s why more than 300 residents signed a petition opposing the city of Maumelle’s Master Street Plan project unless it’s done in a way that protects both trees and drivers.
“We support growth and development, we just want to do it in a way that preserves and enhances the neighborhood,” Resident Geneva Gilbert said.
