ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Rockford Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority hosted its 15th annual Gospel Brunch Fundraiser.
At 10 a.m., community members came together at the Embassy Suites in Rockford to support the chapter and raise money for female students in the Rockford and Freeport area.
The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority describes themselves as an organization of college-educated women based on Christian principles.
The event offered a delicious spread of brunch foods, along with featuring gospel musicians, soloists and praise teams.
Local vendors showed up to support the event and sell unique, handcrafted goods to attendees.
