TEXAS — A man died early Saturday morning after his vehicle crashed into a tree in a high-speed collision on San Antonio’s North Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred around 3 a.m. on Thousand Oaks Drive near U.S. Highway 281. Investigators said the vehicle struck a tree and immediately became engulfed in flames, according to witness accounts.
