Gunmen In Red Car Terrorize Teen Couple On San Antonio’s West Side

Two teenagers out late on the West Side found themselves staring down gun barrels early Saturday when three men rolled up in a red car and robbed them in a parking lot in the 8300 block of Potranco Road, according to police. The victims, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl, handed over their belongings. Officers say no one was hurt, and the trio sped off before police could catch up, as per WOAI.

San Antonio police say officers responded around 3 a.m. to a report of a robbery in progress in the 8300 block of Potranco Road. Investigators say two suspects got out of the red vehicle and pointed firearms at the teens while a third man stayed inside the car, also armed. The teenagers complied and turned over their property, and the car took off into the night, according to WOAI.

The local TV report added an extra twist for car fans. The station teased the story as involving a red Camaro but described the suspect vehicle in the body of the article as a red Dodge Charger, a detail that has not been cleared up, as reported by WOAI.
