MEDINA, Ohio – Even with winter’s chill still present, the 32nd Medina Ice Festival will provide many reasons to entice visitors to the square and South Town to enjoy some frozen works of art.
“There will be over 150 ice carvings for viewing and many interactive photo ops on and around the square,” said Peggy Costic of Elegant Ice Creations, the organization that coordinates the annual event.
This year’s Ice Festival will take place Feb. 20-23. Speed carving will take place Friday Feb. 20 at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m. The famous Fire and Ice Tower will take place at 7 p.m. This event is a longtime crowd pleaser where fire and ice battle it out to see which will be the last one standing…
