Columbus State Falls to Tuskegee in the Red-White-Blue Classic Opener

COLUMBUS — The Columbus State University Softball team fell 10–0 to Tuskegee University on Friday morning at Cougar Field in the Red-White-Blue Classic.

Columbus State recorded five hits in the game, led by Kara Wegienka, who finished 2-for-2 with a double. Libby Buchanan, Ella Hopper, and Nova Wright each added a hit, with Wright also had a double. The Cougars drew two walks and stole two bases, but were unable to capitalize offensively.
