Officials report 2 earthquakes in South Carolina

LADSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The United States Geological Survey has reported two earthquakes in South Carolina on Saturday night.

Officials said the first quake had a 3.2 magnitude and hit 4.6 miles south-southwest of Ladson at 10:37 p.m. at a depth of 2 kilometers. The quake was also 6.7 miles west of Hanahan and 7 miles south-southeast of Summerville.

The second quake was reported to have a 2.9 magnitude that hit 3.7 miles south-southeast of Centerville, South Carolina, at 10:37 p.m. at a depth of 5 kilometers. The quake was also 3.9 miles southwest of Ladson and 5.3 miles south-southeast of Summerville…
