Developers have broken ground on the downtown hotel project, with the construction process projected to wrap up in 2027.
Fountain Inn City Council approved the plans for a SpringHill Suites by Marriott back in July of 2025. As of Feb. 1, construction crews have officially began grading and demolition work on the site.
