Mattawan Schools moves for dismissal of lawsuit from former bus driver

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Mattawan Consolidated Schools is requesting a federal court to dismiss the lawsuit filed by a former bus driver last year.

The 34-page response fires back on the lawsuit claiming religious discrimination after the driver was fired for giving out holiday candy bags to students, some of which contained Christian messaging.
