FLORIDA — A 35-year-old man died after being ejected from his motorcycle during a crash in Polk County on Saturday afternoon, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Waverly Road and Hodge Street. The motorcyclist, identified as David Durham, was traveling westbound at a speed above the posted 35 mph limit when a Toyota Highlander traveling eastbound made a left turn into his path.
Durham, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and came to rest approximately 75 feet from the point of impact, deputies said…
