FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Two Fall River police officers were shot and injured early Sunday morning. The suspect involved was shot and killed.
According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, officers were called to 309 Linden Street around 12:15 a.m. for a man, later identified as 40-year-old Nigel Vaughn, in possession of a gun in a vehicle outside of the home.
While officers were attempting to search Vaughn, they said he became violent and a struggle broke out…
