ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism will soon celebrate the 40th Annual Valentine’s Dinner Dance for individuals with disabilities.
The festivities will take place in the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center’s banquet room on Monday, Feb. 9 from 5:30p.m. to 9p.m.
250 participants and caregivers throughout SW Va. will come to join in on dining, dancing, and fun. A King and Queen of Hearts will be crowned, and there will be plenty of music and dancing with a live DJ. A photo booth will be provided by Unique Memories and Gifts.
The event sprouted 40 years ago with a group of 30 adults with developmental disabilities. It has grown in popularity each year…
