Toledo man arrested for armed robberies days after assault charges

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Police arrested a 20-year-old Toledo man on Saturday afternoon in connection with two armed robberies that occurred Thursday, marking his second arrest this week.

According to court documents, Kammaryn Whitiker robbed a Marco’s Pizza driver on Sawyer Road by holding a gun to the victim’s head. He took the driver’s cellphone and $20, police said.

On the same day, Whitiker allegedly brandished and pointed a gun at a Walgreens clerk at the store at the corner of Dorr Street and Reynolds Road in an attempt to take money from the employee, according to investigators…
