WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — When teens age out of foster care, one of the first — and most difficult — hurdles they face is finding a place to live.
Landlords are often reluctant to rent to young people with limited credit or rental history, and with housing prices at record highs, many youth who grew up in foster care are left with few options. For some, that reality leads directly to homelessness.
