Marrero Man, Lucien Bazley, Sentenced to 60 Years as Habitual Offender for Manslaughter in Jefferson Parish

Lucien Bazley, 50, of Marrero, was sentenced to 60 years in prison after being declared a habitual offender following his conviction for the manslaughter of Wayne Martin in October. The fatal shooting occurred on September 25, 2022, in an auto parts store parking lot, and Bazley, who was on parole for a 2008 cocaine conviction, was also barred from possessing firearms, according to the Jefferson Parish District Attorney.
