8th South Drug Task Force and Arkansas State Police seize meth at weigh station stop

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) — Authorities in Arkansas discovered a surprise when they found more than $28 million worth of methamphetamine hidden in a box truck carrying fresh limes near Hope last November.

The 8th South Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Arkansas State Police and other agencies, stopped the vehicle at a weigh station after receiving a tip about meth trafficking through Texarkana.
