SAN ANTONIO – An attempted theft of a nitrous gas canister ended in an arrest after a chaotic confrontation at a smoke shop.
On Jan. 31, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to the scene at the 4200 block of N. Foster Road, where an employee reported that Noah Jaden Alaniz had jumped the counter in an attempt to steal the canister.
