It was a wet day as expected, with most metro area locations seeing anywhere from 0.20″ to 0.40″ of rain. PDX picked up just under three tenths of an inch. High temperatures were in the low 50s for most spots.
WET SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY
After a brief dry break, rain is picking up again on radar and will get more widespread overnight. The wettest time period will be Sunday morning, with models now indicating the steady rain will end a bit earlier (late afternoon) with another shower or two passing through before midnight. A few more showers mix with sun breaks on Monday (some of those could be heavier showers) and then it’s on to dry weather starting Monday night.
The snow level will gradually drop to around 3,500 or 4,000 feet on Monday, so 3-7 inches of mountain are possible if we get some heavier showers. Passes should remain bare until early Monday morning…
