HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A man who was using an electric hydrofoil surfboard, or e-foil, was rescued after losing his board Friday evening.
According to the Honolulu Ocean Safety Department (HOSD), at around 6:20 pm., it responded to a U.S. Coast Guard call regarding a distress signal from a GPS device in the Alii Beach area, a half mile offshore.
