This Ann Arbor couple waved a University of Michigan flag on top of Mount Kilimanjaro

ANN ARBOR, MI — Hard, exciting and raw, it was a “once in a lifetime opportunity” that took two months of training and lots of Swahili flashcards.

Dr. Christopher Sudduth and Lindsey (Johnson) Sudduth of Ann Arbor hiked for seven days in January to the top of Africa’s highest peak and one of the seven summits, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
