Mid-Atlantic – Maryland-Virginia-North Carolina Wind Chills Near Zero Until 10 AM

Wakefield, Virginia – A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect across portions of Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina through Monday morning, as dangerously low wind chills continue to impact the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Wakefield, wind chill values are expected to drop as low as 1 degree below zero in parts of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, including Dorchester, Wicomico, Somerset, and Worcester counties. In Northampton and Accomack counties in Virginia, similarly cold conditions are expected through 10 a.m. Monday
