CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Residents across the nation are encouraged to check for unclaimed property in their name.
Kentucky State Treasurer Mark H. Metcalf, in particular, said his office returned a record $86 million to rightful owners. Metcalf said the funds returned included forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks and other financial assets turned over to the Treasurer’s Office each year.
