A shooting took place at the Peppertree Apartments Sunday afternoon.
Police blanketed the apartment complex around 2 p.m.
“Upon their arrival, they located one victim that sustained a gunshot wound,” said Major Torri Tellis with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. “At that time, MEDIC transported the victim to the hospital where the victim succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased.”…
