DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) — Following the decision of a federal judge to appeal the Temporary Protection Status (TPS) of Haitian residents in Springfield, Ohio, people across the state came together to stand in solidarity with the migrants.
On Saturday afternoon, raising their voices on behalf of the Haitian community, residents in the Dayton area gathered downtown at Courthouse Square. Maxx Bowman, a member of the Dayton Chapter of the Party for Social Liberation (PSL), said the fight for the protection of the Springfield Haitian population has only just begun.
