‘Really important to us’: Georgetown polar plunge raises money for Special Olympics

PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WMBF) – Dozens of people ran into the ocean water Saturday morning in support of a special cause.

The Georgetown County Polar Plunge, put on by law enforcement, is an annual event that raises money for Special Olympics.
