(KRON) — The San Pablo Police Department said an investigation is underway after a 70-year-old banned casino guest later died in police custody.
SPPD said officers responded at 10:44 p.m. Saturday to the San Pablo Lytton Casino about the aforementioned patron who reportedly refused to leave the property. Police said they were notified by casino security staff that the man was “physically resisting” and that they were trying to detain him in handcuffs.
