Leesburg commissioners will review an addition to the controversial Lake Margaretta Estates during Monday’s meeting.
The Leesburg Planning Commission has recommended that the Leesburg Commission approve the expansion of the Lake Margaretta Estates by 75 single family homes. The property is located south of County Road 48, east of Number Two Road, and west of Trimpi Road. The property is vacant.
Margaretta Estates 2 is completely surrounded by the already approved Margaretta Estates development.
This past August, The Leesburg Commission approved a plan for 586 homes despite objections from neighbors. The developer acquired a 25.07 Upland Acre parcel which is surrounded by the previously approved subdivision which will include 50’ lots, 60’ lots and 70’ lots…
