Pensacola man arrested on drug charges after chase, officials say

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man is in jail on drug charges after an attempted traffic stop led to his arrest on Sunday.

According to a post from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted a traffic stop after the driver, identified as 21-year-old Prentice Laguan Lindsey of Pensacola, ran a stop sign near Olive Road and Deborah Drive in Ensley.

Authorities say Lindsey refused to stop, fled onto Vickery Road, and eventually ran on foot into a trailer park. The chase was brief, and deputies found Lindsey.
