NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY)– In New Hanover County, a happy ending this weekend, after a 90-year-old missing woman was found alive. On Friday evening, the New Hanover County Sheriff’s office k-9 unit was alerted to a missing 90-year-old woman, who was last seen at the Walmart in Monkey Junction.
Master Deputy Pederson, and his K-9 unit responded to the scene and quickly followed a scent for nearly one mile.
They found the woman lying on the ground between two vehicles, where she received medical help, before being taken home…
