CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — One person was taken to the hospital after a kitchen fire at a home in northwest Cedar Rapids Saturday morning.
According to the Cedar Rapids Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 9:20 a.m. to a home in the 1400 block of Fifth Street NW after reports of smoke inside the residence.
