LUBBOCK, Texas — Despite the snow two weeks ago, Lubbock County has returned to severe drought (D2 Intensity) conditions according to the U.S. Drought Monitor update released on Tuesday, February 3.

Lubbock County’s drought has increased significantly since the last update on January 27, when a majority of Lubbock County was showing moderate drought conditions.
