ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A grand jury in Bernalillo County District Court indicted actor Timothy Busfield on Friday on four counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor, as reported by KOAT-TV. Busfield, an Emmy Award winner known for roles in “Revenge of the Nerds” as Poindexter and a recurring part on “The West Wing,” faces serious allegations stemming from his time on the set of Fox’s “The Cleaning Lady.”
The indictment follows accusations by two young boys who alleged inappropriate touching by Busfield on set in Albuquerque between late 2022 and early 2024, with the case expected to proceed to trial.
