Festival raises funds for recovering North Shore surfer

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A fundraiser to help a recovering surfer took place Saturday on the North Shore.

In June 2025, Dakota Briley, 20, was hit by a vehicle that veered off the road on Kamehameha Highway and pinned him between two vehicles.

Organizers of the 2026 Ke Nui Festival at Wauhena Farms said 100% of funds raised will go to Briley’s continued recovery efforts…
