CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A new system being implemented within the Canton Police Department will be able to keep crime victims informed about their cases.
The city has accepted an $85,000 grant from the Office of Criminal Justice Services to purchase the Versaterm Public Safety victim notification system.
When the system is deployed, all mobile calls to 911 will receive messages about their case with an opt-out option…
