Who’s that out on the river? Sleepy critter takes a nap on the ice

The Ohio River isn’t frozen enough to safely walk out on, but that didn’t stop one curious critter.

Bellevue police said one of their sergeants spotted a coyote napping out on the ice Sunday morning, Feb. 8. Police warned boaters and ice fishers along the river to keep an eye on any small pets.

Freezing temperatures from arctic air have rested across Cincinnati in recent weeks, with occasional sub-zero lows overnight.
