Georgia men’s swimming and diving completes Auburn Invitational

A team of freshmen represented Georgia men’s swimming and diving team at a two-day invitational meet at Auburn’s James E. Martin Aquatic Center on Saturday, Feb. 7.

Of the five freshmen representing Georgia across the weekend, Jayson Ross led the charge with a personal best 19.84 in a 50-yard freestyle time trial before finishing fourth in the main event. Finn Wendland delivered the top finish on day one for the Bulldogs, placing second in the 400-yard individual medley in 3:51.84.

Tyler Grafmiller competed in five events this weekend. His top finish came on Saturday in the 50-yard freestyle race where he placed second in 20.67. He followed with a season-best time in the 100-yard freestyle in 44.82 for an eighth-place finish…
