VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV)— Authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred around midnight on Interstate 69 near Green River Road.
According to Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson, a single vehicle was involved in a collision with a pedestrian. The accident took place after midnight on the interstate west of the Covert Avenue exit. The pedestrian was reported walking the roadway before the accident. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Driver of the vehicle was checked out on scene. VCSO says alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the accident…
