EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – The Evansville Police Department say they arrested a man for drunk driving after he told them he was just leaving from watching the Super Bowl.
Officials say 39-year-old Jeremy Mackey was seen swerving over the centerline of the road into the westbound lanes of E Riverside Drive near Hwy 41 and going 10 mph over the speed limit.
According to the affidavit, Mackey claimed he was coming from watching the Super Bowl but had not been drinking. He told police the alcohol they found in his car was unopened, but authorities say the bottle was almost empty…
