Man robs Chester County bank, crashes car during high-speed chase, police say

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania State Police said troopers arrested a man who stole thousands of dollars from a bank in Chester County, then crashed his car while trying to flee.

It happened just before 11 a.m. Friday at the Santander Bank on Gap Newport Pike in Avondale.

Nicholas Casaburri, of Leominster, Massachusetts, is accused of entering the bank, brandishing a knife and demanding money. He was given $11,350 in cash and then fled the scene…
