Delaware Street Baptist Church youth honor local Black trailblazers

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Delaware Street Baptist Church’s youth program hosted a Black History Month celebration today, honoring local Black Alabama trailblazers. The program, performed by the church’s youth, focused on inspiring the next generation through history and leadership.

Inside Delaware Street Baptist Church, Black history came from the people who lived it rather than textbooks. The church’s youth program hosted a Black History Month event honoring South Alabama leaders whose impact reaches far beyond city limits.
