MARTIN COUNTY – When Betsy Ciconte got the diagnosis that her 78-year-old father, Michael Turnbull of Juno Beach, developed Parkinson’s Disease, she decided to take a pro-active response.
To that end about seven months ago, she became part of the Pennsylvania-based Seniors Helping Seniors®, which matches senior citizens in need with mature, active caregivers who have a passion for serving others and building lasting friendships, according to its web site.
